Established in 2015, our company began as a short-term vacation rental service, offering some of the most highly-rated luxury holiday homes in the heart of Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC), Malaysia. As our portfolio expanded, with a focus on the KLCC area, we diversified and launched several distinguished brand names, including LUMA, ALMA, and COLLECTIVE HAUS, among others. 

 

HOL . MA — a name derived from the Bahasa Malaysia word "Rumah", meaning "home"—embodies the essence of what we offer. To us, a "home" is not merely a structure; it’s a feeling. It’s a place where the heart resides, a sanctuary where both the body and mind feel a deep sense of belonging, security, love, and warmth.

 

Over the past 10 years, we have further expanded our services to provide a hassle-free, one-stop solution for property investors. This growth is a testament to the trust and support we’ve received from property owners and business partners, who have been with us every step of the way.

John is a seasoned entrepreneur and former investment banker with over 25 years of experience across finance and real estate. He began his career in investment banking, where he spent 15 years advising corporate clients, managing complex financial portfolios, and structuring strategic investments across Asia.

 

Over the past decade, John has transitioned into the short-term rental and property investment industry, where he has successfully built and managed a diverse portfolio of income-generating assets. His deep financial acumen, combined with hands-on operational expertise, has enabled him to identify undervalued opportunities and scale high-performing rental businesses.

 

John’s unique blend of institutional finance and real estate operations has positioned him as a trusted figure in the evolving short-term rental market. He remains focused on building sustainable, tech-enabled property ventures that deliver strong returns and exceptional guest experiences.

Vision & Mission

Given the current property market conditions, particularly the oversupply of condominiums and serviced apartments in the coming years, we understand the challenges faced by property owners and investors. Many are struggling with decreasing rental income, concerns over monthly mortgage payments, the burden of tenant management, property maintenance issues, and limited time to effectively manage their valuable properties. 

 

With our extensive experience in property management, we are offering unique offerings to property owners and investors, from selecting and investing the “right” property, generating healthy rental income and lastly maximizing their returns on investment. For existing property owners and investors, our focus is on reducing their monthly mortgage commitments by generating additional income from vacant properties.
